Phi Chi Theta strives to increase interest and dedication to professionalism while also increasing interest in the business world. By practicing professionalism both within and outside of the working environment, our brothers become better leaders in the professional world.
Being in our family makes a large university feel small. Phi Chi Theta is made up of loyal friendships built upon the foundation of a close-knit brotherhood. Whether it is studying, intramural sports, or having chapter wide competitions, we always thrive together.
SERVICE
Phi Chi Theta believes service is an integral part of growing one’s character and building a stronger community. Rebuilding local homes, assisting with food pantries, and promoting literacy at various institutions are only a few of the charitable acts the organization takes part in.
WHO WE ARE
Phi Chi Theta is a national co-educational Professional Business Fraternity that was founded in 1924 in Chicago, Illinois. There are 37 collegiate and alumni chapters nationally and more than 20,000 members across the country.

Phi Chi Theta provides members with the opportunity to practice leadership skills, network with alumni, interact with numerous respected corporate sponsors and, most importantly, Phi Chi Theta is a family where members build friendships that will last far beyond time at college.
Phi Chi Theta welcomes all majors and minors available at the University of Illinois. Pledges are given extensive professional training including mock interviews, resume critiques, career advice, case competition experience, four year class schedule planning, major exploration advice, and improved public speaking skills. Pledges can gain leadership experience right away by being elected to one of five available positions: Pledge class president, pledge social chair, pledge fundraising chair, pledge service chair, or pledge professional chair. Phi Chi Theta is a nationally recognized organization built for driven students who want to turn ambition into impact. While we are a business fraternity, our chapter includes members from 10 colleges and 39 majors. What unites us is a shared interest in business, leadership, and innovation.

Through our five career-oriented internal groups, professional programming, and corporate partnerships, PCT gives members real opportunities to grow. Our brothers and alumni go on to succeed across consulting, technology, finance, medicine, and law. No matter your background, PCT offers the support and network to help you shape your future.
Service is a core part of who we are. Our chapter is deeply connected to the Champaign-Urbana community. Through service events and fundraising initiatives, our members give back to causes they care about and create meaningful impact beyond campus.

What truly sets Phi Chi Theta apart, however, is our sense of brotherhood. Through our family and mentorship systems, PCT becomes more than just an organization — it becomes a support system. The people you meet here will quickly become your closest friends, your biggest supporters, and some of the most influential mentors in your college journey and beyond.

I joined Phi Chi Theta as a freshman, and it remains one of the best decisions I have made in college. From my first semester as a new member to now serving as President, I have been shaped by the people in this chapter. PCT has helped me grow both personally and professionally, and it has given me a community I am proud to lead.
